Today’s Devo: A FATHER WHO IS WITH US

This following is so short and simple that we often miss it, but so profound that cannot afford to do so: Do you remember famous Psalm 23:4?

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.”

Notice! The Psalmist never said God *delivered* him from the valley of the shadow of death; all he wrote was that God was *with Him* in that horrible valley. Hallelujah, you and I can count on the same.

The church today is rampant with “easy-believism.” We extend the offer either directly or by innuendo, “just walk the isle and trust Christ as Savior and your live will be easy and care free!”

The truth is that we are never promised deliverance from every dark valley or desolate wilderness in our lives. But as a child of God, we ARE promised that Father will be with us, even when our being in the wilderness or valley is dark and painful; even when it is our fault.

Take a second and meditate on this. Priase God. Share it with someone else. Love so amazing, so divine!
